This 18 Days Uganda wildlife safari covers destinations in Uganda and Rwanda that have a variety of activities like game drives, boat cruises, nature walks, and primate trekking.

Day 1: Arrival Entebbe International Airport
Upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be met by the company safari guide. He will then transfer you to sunset hotel Entebbe for an overnight. (B.B)

Day 2: Drive to Kidepo valley
After breakfast, our guide will brief you about the 18 days wild safari then embark on a journey as you drive to Kidepo Valley National park. The park is almost10 hours’ drive from Kampala via Gulu, Kitgum. Arrive in Kidepo valley through Lokumoit Gate. Thereafter check into your Lodge for dinner and overnight at Kidepo savannah lodge. Day 3: Full day Kidepo valley national park
Take a morning and evening game drive in the park, and get a chance to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, hyenas and a variety of bird species like ostriches. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kidepo savannah lodge (B.L.D)

Day 4: Transfer to Gulu
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Gulu, visit Fort Patiko or Baker’s fort which was a military fort that was completed 1872 by Sir Samuel Baker to stop the slave trade. Have lunch and relax finally dinner and overnight at Bomah hotel (B.L.D)

Day 5: Transfer to Murchison falls
After breakfast transfer to Murchison falls national park, Check into your lodge for lunch. Later go for an evening game drive to see elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Murchison falls river lodge (B.L.D)

Day 6: Game and Boat cruise
After breakfast, head out for an early morning game drive to spot some animals such as giraffes, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and hyenas. Enjoy a 2 hours boat cruise upstream to the bottom of the Murchison Falls which may offer a closer view of the mighty waterfall on the River Nile. The river bank has a variety of bird species including the rare shoebill stork. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Murchison falls river lodge (B.L.D)

Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo
After breakfast, you will drive to Budongo forest to track chimpanzees. Return for lunch and relax for the whole of the afternoon or decide to swim. Overnight at Murchison River Lodge (B.L.D).

Day 8: Transfer to Fort Portal
Have breakfast, drive to Fort portal have lunch, later visit Amabera ga nyina mwiru- this is a cultural site with a rich cultural history of the Batoro people. Learn about the interesting myth of the caves. Hike the Nyakasura hills enjoy a clear view of the 3 crater lakes. Check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight fort motel (B.L.D).

Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Boat Cruise
Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park and enjoy a game drive as you enter the park. Check into your lodge for lunch and later a relaxing afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga channel. Expect to see hippos, buffaloes as well as different bird species. Retire at the lodge for dinner and overnight at Pumba safari cottages (B.L.D).

Day 10: Game drives and transfer to Bunyonyi
At the climax of the 18 days wildlife safari; you will see the famous tree climbing lions on the acacia trees in the Ishasha sector as you exit the park to Lake Bunyonyi. Drive to Bunyonyi check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi overland resort (B.L.D).

Day 11: Bunyonyi Experience
Wake up early in the morning have your breakfast and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi. On a canoe sail through the deepest lake in Africa and as well as the lake known for little birds. You will have the pygmies experience around those small islands too with their amazing culture. Later relax and have lunch. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi overland (B.L.D).

Day 12: Transfer to Bwindi-Batwa
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park, arrive in time for Lunch. Visit the Batwa Pygmies community in the evening and listen to their stories as well as join them in their traditional dances. Batwa pygmies are former forest people. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at travelers’ rest (B.L.D).

Day 13: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Bunyonyi
With packed lunch transfer to the park headquarters; for a briefing about mountain gorilla trekking. At 8:00 am you will set out into the forest in groups led by park guides and rangers. The movements of the gorillas will determine the duration of your search. However, on finding them, you will spend an hour taking photographs, videos; as well as observing their remarkable way of life. After the great experience, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi overland (B.L.B).

Day 14: Transfer to Akagera
After breakfast check out of your Lodge and cross the border and transfer to Akagera National park. Arrive on time for lunch and later enjoy a boat ride on Lake Ihema to see crocodiles and hippos. Dinner and overnight at Akagera game lodge (B.L.D).

Day 15: Game viewing in Akagera
After breakfast, go for an early morning game drive to see giraffes, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes. Then return for a hot lunch and relax at the lodge. Enjoy a night game drive and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Akagera game lodge (B.L.D).

Day 16: Transfer to Kigali
Take breakfast and relax at the lodge after many days of long drives. Later check out and drive to Rwanda’s capital Kigali. Arrive there in the afternoon, take Lunch, and relax at Hotel ChezLando for dinner and overnight. (B.L.D)

Day 17: Kigali City tour
Wake up relaxed, and after breakfast take a wonderful drive through Kigali, visiting the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site, National Museum, Later dinner and overnight at Hotel ChezLando for dinner and overnight. (B.L.D)

Day 18: Departure
After breakfast, visit some local markets and local craft shops among others and depending on your flight schedule our driver will drop you at the airport to catch your flight back home.
