We specialized at offering the finest safaris that is wildlife tours like gorilla trekking safaris, chimpanzee tracking safaris, game viewing adventures, holiday and honeymoon packages, boat cruise adventures, white water rafting safaris, car rental services and hotel booking services.

Our terms and conditions of service govern the purchase of tour arrangements through Grandnexus Africa and form part of your agreement with us. A deposit fee of 40% or a full amount in our bank accounts or offices is required at the time of booking and the balance must be cleared 20 days before the trip begins. For bookings made by telephone, if you wish to query any part of your booking please contact your consultant within 7 days of the date shown on your booking form. In any event, queries must be made before the departure your trip.
Any date changes which can be made to your purchase(s) by Grandnexus Africa will always be communicated by email, Phone calls or even WhatsApp messaging and this should be mainly as a result of changes from service providers. Some changes on other types of ticket or booking can only be made through the airline or supplier direct. Grandnexus Africa has no control over other fees which maybe charged by an airline or supplier as these will be charged at their own tariffs.
For all safaris that require tracking permits that is to say gorilla trekking permits, chimpanzee tracking permits and golden monkey tracking permits, your permits are purchased as soon the payment has been received. Getting a gorilla permit is not a guarantee of seeing a gorilla. However, the chances of spotting them are 99%. Local conditions sometimes mean that access to the gorillas is made impossible at short notice. Grandnexus Africa cannot accept liability for any circumstance that might lead to gorilla viewing being canceled, whether it is the closure of the National Park or borders; absence of the gorillas; security changes. Refunds are at the discretion of the relevant authority and we cannot accept liability for them. We shall always use our maximum endeavors to obtain a refund and if a refund is paid by the relevant authority, we shall pass it on to the clients.
Any monies paid will be refunded less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels, food purchases and any other relevant expenses. Payments for gorilla trekking permits, chimpanzee tracking permits and Air Tickets are non-refundable. Below are our cancellation rates:
- 60 plus Days before arrival – 80% refund
- 50 – 59 Days before arrival – 60% refund
- 40 – 49 Days before arrival – 40% refund
- 30 – 39 Days before arrival – 20% refund
- 16 – 29 Days before arrival – 10% refund
- 1 – 15 Days before arrival – 0% refund
Fees for Gorilla, Chimpanzees and or Golden Monkey Permits are 100% non refundable. No refunds shall be made for any activity cancelled and or not done by any client.
Grandnexus Africa cannot accept liability or responsibility for any alteration, delay or cancellation caused by war or threat of civil war, civil strife, natural disaster, terrorism, industrial disputes, fire bad weather, sickness, act of government or public authorities or other circumstances amounting to force majeure and/or Acts of God.
In an event of refunding your money after following the cancellation policy, Grandnexus Africa will deduct $50 USD of your money as a Bank charge used in sending your money back.
Cars, minibuses, land rovers, coaches or trucks will be provided depending on the route and the number of participants. The right is reserved to employ the services of sub-contractors. English speaking driver/guides are provided during the trip.
If you have any queries regarding accommodation with which you have been provided, you should bring this attention to the hotel or hostel management immediately at the hotel or hostel. Grandnexus Africa cannot look into any queries if you have not brought them to the attention of the hotel or hostel management.
Alteration to tours
Grandnexus Africa reserves the right to alter the arrangement or cancel the operation of a scheduled tour should conditions so necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any personas a member of any tour at any time, in which case an equitable amount will be refunded. Prices are based on tariffs and other costs prevailing at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice.
Travel insurance is a vital part of your arrangements and Grandnexus Africa strongly recommends that you have taken out adequate travel insurance for the entire duration of your itinerary.
You need a valid passport for your travel to any country. It is a Common requirement that your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the date you intend to depart from any country.
The company and its agents act only as agents for the passenger in all matters relating to hotels / lodge accommodation, tours, transport, etc. and shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner.
The company’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place and no other country. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the action arise. The company reserves the right to employ sub-contractors for all or part of the services.
All trips involve an element of personal risk and at times can be of a hazardous nature. Travel members must accept this risk; we are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, expense, delay or inconvenience caused to you or your baggage as a result, whether directly or indirectly, or any matter of whatever nature, which is outside our control. All participants are advised to take out an insurance policy to cover personal accident and medical expenses. We can arrange this at a low cost.
Gear for mountain climbing is not included in the tour cost but we can help hire them for you in case you didn’t carry any.
You agree that you shall not use the website for any illegal purposes, and that you will respect all applicable laws and regulations.
You agree not to use the website in a way that may impair the performance, corrupt or manipulate the content or information available on the website or reduce the overall functionality of the website.

You agree to be fully responsible for any claim, expense, losses, liability, costs including legal fees incurred by us arising from any infringement of the terms and conditions in this agreement and to which you will have agreed if you continue to use the website.
