Red Chili Rest Camp is an exclusive safari Lodge located in the heart of Paraa, the Southern section of Murchison falls National Park in North West Uganda. It is 500m from the ferry where all vehicles cross for Nile Delta game drives and from where boats depart for falls and Delta Trips. It is about a 4hr drive from Uganda’s capital city, Kampala.
The accommodation at Red Chilli Rest Camp is very good with a range of options where our visitors can choose from. From DIY camping, en suites well-furnished Tents to superior family bandas(small individual houses) each with private bathroom, solar hot water systems, power points fans and modern toilets with provision for disabled visitors.
Red Chilli Rest Camp is a very attractive place where you can sit and watch hippopotamuses and warthogs as they are constant visitors to the Camp. Interestingly, there is also a camp fire that is made every evening where our visitors can sit, chat and relax around the fire.
Expect to find a fully stocked bar with a range of drinks including spirits and wines which our visitors can take to relax their minds and bodies after a long day. You can take them from either the bar, around the fire or any other place of your preference.
Our 24/7 serving Restaurant is an amazing facility with an a la carte breakfast and lunch menu of continental daily meals served at our clients’ order and food type preference. Expect to be served by our welcoming and hospitable staff.
Bird watching is an interesting activity done at Red Chilli Rest Camp. Uganda is a top tourists destination for birds in Africa with a thousand species of birds. Murchison falls boasts with over 450 bird species. The common birds are rare shoebill, African jacana kingfisher and so many more.
Other activities our visitors should expect include boat cruising as you enjoy the lakes flora and fauna. Nature guided walks, Chimpanzee trekking, Community visits, White water rafting and so much more exciting activities.
