3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari with a visit to the Iby’Iwacu cultural village

This 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari is an experience of a lifetime where you encounter the endangered and habituated gorillas in their natural habitat the Volcanoes national park in the northern part of Rwanda. The tour also gives a glimpse into the Rwandan cultural by visiting the Iby’Iwacu cultural village.

Program for the 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari
Day 1: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Early morning pick up by our guide for a Kigali city tour. Visit the major historic and cultural sites like the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, Handcraft shops, Kandt National Museum, and presidential museum depending on the time. Later transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Drive through beautiful countryside and later arrive at the home of the mountain gorillas for overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking experience
After an early morning breakfast, with packed lunch, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Afterward, rally behind the wardens in search of the gorillas in the forest which may take 2-6 hours. However, the duration of your search will depend on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle. Meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour.

Day 3: Cultural visits to Iby’iwacu cultural village and transfer back to Kigali
After breakfast, we ascend for a community walk and enjoy the different performances by the local people at Iby’iwacu cultural village and also explore more about their unique culture.
