Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park composed of 331 square kilometres (128 sq mi) of both montane and lowland forest is situated in the southwestern region of Uganda.

Itinerary for the 3 days gorilla tracking Bwindi forest tour
Day 1: Pickup and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon your arrival at the airport or from your hotel of residence in Uganda, you will be picked up by the company driver guide who will shortly brief you about your 3-day tour to Bwindi and then start off your magical journey to the home of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
The journey is approximately 8 hours to the park, though expect a stopover at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe for photographic and simple experiments before continuing to Mbarara town for Lunch. After lunch, you will embark on your scenic drive to Bwindi forest national park.
Dinner and overnight will be at the reserved lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and visiting the Batwa pygmies
This is the major day of your entire package, as you will wake up very early in the morning, have your breakfast and then join your driver guide who will drive you to the park headquarters for the 7:00am registration and briefing about the gorillas’ way of life and the tracking guidelines.
At around 8:00am, you are accompanied by a park ranger and some porters and then enter in the thick forest to start you gorilla trekking adventure in search for the giant mountain gorillas. After meeting a given family of gorillas, you will spend a period of an hour’s time observing their behaviours and taking photographs for your memorable experience.
After which you will descend back to the park headquarter were you will be awarded a gorilla tracking certificate for participating in the activity and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas.
In the evening, visit the Batwa pygmies, the traditional forest dwellers who will demonstrate to you about their forest life. Dinner and overnight at your reserved lodge.
Day 3: Drive back to Entebbe or preferred drop-off
After your early morning breakfast, you will be driven back to Kampala or Entebbe for your next travel arrangements or scheduled flight.
