This 8 Days Uganda Safari with Gorillas, Chimpanzees and Wildlife tour takes you to Western Uganda where you will encounter the presence of chimpanzees, gorillas, wildlife and some of the most beautiful and deepest lakes in Africa.

Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Kibale Forest national park
Arrive at Entebbe international airport and meet with our professional driver guides. Drive via Mityana, to Fort portal town, have lunch at the garden city restaurant and proceed to Kibale for dinner and overnight stay at

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Nature walk
After an early morning breakfast, head to the headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. Other primates to see while tracking is Colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons as well as a variety of bird species. Take lunch, & relax at your lodge as you wait to go for a nature walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary; where you will see a variety of birds and other animals.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth for Game drives
Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park the second largest park in Uganda, located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. The park has a prolific game, including Gazelle, Uganda Kob, Warthog, and Waterbucks. Check-in, have lunch and prepare for your evening game drive.

Afterward, retire at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Game drive and Boat cruise
Today you will wake up early before sunrise, breakfast will be served before we head out for a long game drive. You are likely to come across Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Waterbucks, Leopards, Uganda Kobs, and Warthogs.

After lunch, you will take a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which joins the lakes, George and Edward. See a lot of hippos as well as a variety of other animals and birds as they come to quench their thirst.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
After breakfast, you will have a game drive on your way out of the park. Look for the tree climbing lions on the big fig trees as they escape from the afternoon heat. If you are lucky you might spot a few during your game drives. Have lunch and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest through interesting villages and breathtaking views of the beautiful mountains.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community experience
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a pre-trekking briefing. At 8:00 you will set out into the forest in groups led by park guides and rangers. The movements of the gorillas determine the duration of your search. On finding them, you will spend an hour taking photographs, videos as well as observing their fantastic way of life.

After lunch, relax and visit the Batwa pygmies in the evening for a cultural experience. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight;

Day 7: Cultural encounter and canoe ride
After breakfast head for a cultural tour, this three-hour village walk begins with a visit to the handicrafts shops selling handmade artifacts such as fabrics, beeswax candles and wood carvings, all produced by talented local craftsmen and women. Enjoy songs and dances from Batwa community and as they tell stories about their former life in the forest.

After lunch, go for a canoe ride as you discover the five islands each with a different history attached. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure
Take breakfast and transfer to Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
