Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe Airport

Our driver-guide will well come to the Pearl of Africa as you arrive at Entebbe Airport, he will brief you about your 8 Days Murchison, Kibale & Gorilla Trekking and then he will transfer you to the hotel for relaxation as you repair for the next day activity.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park (Travel time +5hrs)

Your 8 Days Murchison, Kibale & Gorilla Trekking being after morning breakfast and then embark on your drive to Murchison Falls with en-route stopper over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track endangered white rhinos that are being restocked in the sanctuary, then processed to Masindi for lunch and after drive to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 3: Morning game drives and boat cruise on the Nile

Begin your day with a cup of African coffee and then embark on your early morning game viewing in Murchison falls which is home to different wildlife species over 76 mammal and 451 bird species. Such mammals you could see while at morning game drive include the Buffaloes, Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Kobs, Hyenas, Bushbucks, Warthogs, and Leopard among others. It is the country’s largest and oldest National Park and hence you can spot the Big 4, later return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch as you prepare for a boat cruise on River Nile.

In the afternoon, you will go on a boat trip to have a more clear view of mammals sailing on Albertine waters as other better ways to spot several herds of buffaloes, crocodiles, hippos, waterbird species, and other wild animals as they flock River Nile to drink water. Continue upstream to the base of the falls to observe how water squeezes in a narrow gorge, where you will get out and start off on a 1-hour hike to the top of the Murchison waterfalls, you will see amazing sceneries right from the falls, rocks, vegetation, water birds permanent rainy bow among others. You will meet your driver guide at the top who will later transfer you back to the lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park. (Travel time +8hrs)   

In the morning after breakfast, you will embark on a long drive to Kibale National Park making en-route stopovers for lunch along the way and as well catching up with some bird species.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park headquarters at Kanyakyu Visitor Centre to join other trekkers for briefing and eventual chimpanzee trekking. Your game ranger guide will take you for a guided primate walk inside Kibale Forest National Park. This forest provides an opportunity to visit one of the habituated communities/parts of chimpanzees and spend an hour with them observing and taking photographs. Kibale National Park is home to other 13 primate species coupled with forest birds.

After lunch visit, Bigodi Wetland Village for a wetland walks that was designed to benefit the local community living around Kibale Forest National Park. This walk will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of birds, butterflies, flora, and fauna among others. View a variety of, birds and other insects.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Travel time +4 hrs)

Early in the morning after breakfast, drive directly to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector where you will view many tree-climbing lions. This is the only place in Africa where you will view tree-climbing lions. You will also view many animals including; monkeys, birds, Kobs, antelopes, etc. Arrive at the park in the afternoon and enjoy a nature walk where you will many animals including monkeys, elephants, birds, etc.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

Have early morning breakfast, and after proceed to the park headquarters to have a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Bwindi. The rangers will then accompany you to the rain forest to start your search for the gentle giants. This walk can sometimes be tough and it needs someone so strong. Trekkers are always advised to carry their raincoats and boots because the weather there is always unpredictable. There are also some potters who always help with the carrying of the luggage on behalf of the visitors but at a small cost. On sighting the gorillas, the rangers will guide you on handling them, especially by giving them a 6-meter distance as you enjoy them playing around. It’s always not easy to predict how long gorilla tracking will take and this also depends on the location of some families since some of them are far from the park headquarters. However, it always takes 2 to 8 hours to come into contact with them and the rangers will always be there to guide you. Trackers are also advisable to be physically fit before going for tracking. After your trek, return to the lodge for your lunch and in the afternoon, you may opt to visit the Batwa community to enjoy some cultural performances before retiring at your lodge.

Day 8: Departure back to Kampala (Travel Time +8 hours)

Have breakfast at the hotel and after the start, transfer to Kampala, have lunch at Mbarara town, and have another stopover at the equator to have some photos and experiments. After, proceed to Kampala arriving in the late afternoon.
